Kekaha RSM

The Kekaha Regional Sediment Management study is intended to quantify the transport of sediment through the Waimea River and along the Pacific shoreline (from the river mouth extending 3.5 miles to the west).  Effective management of sediment in the Kekaha region could potentially reduce the operation and maintenance costs of the Federal Waimea River Flood Control and Kikiaola Light Draft Harbor Projects.
