Workshop #4 - August 27, 2008

Similar to the second M2M RSM workshop, the fourth workshop was held at the Ko'olau Golf Course in Kane'ohe, Hawai'i.  Workshop #4 was an exciting event in that it provided the results of a number of significant investigations conducted in association with the M2M RSM project.  Highlights of the workshop included presentations on updated regional shoreline change studies and sediment trend analyses for littoral transport offshore of Lanikai and Bellows beaches.  Spirited discussions on the M2M sediment budget and management of sediment at the Ka'elepulu Stream mouth provided valuable and enlightening insight on coastal processes in the region.  Potential demonstration project designs were also unveiled for Lanikai and Bellows beaches.
