An RSM Plan has been developed for Kauai which addresses sediment management related opportunities in the Kekaha and Poipu regions. The plan compiles available information and documents investigations conducted to identify sediment transport pathways in the regions. The information is to be used in the future as a basis for identifying potential RSM projects which could reduce federal project costs in the regions while improving environmental outcomes and increasing the public benefit.
