Kaua'i Workshop – Jan 20, 2011

The first workshop on the RSM opportunities on Kaua'i was held on Thursday, January 20th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Kauai Veterans Center, 3215 Kapule Highway, Lihue.  The workshop provided updates on our RSM efforts to date and opportunities for discussion of optimizing use of sediment resources within the Po'ipu and Kekaha regions.  Presentations were made on coastal processes modeling, offshore sand source inventories, sediment budgets and RSM plans for each region.
